I am currently engaged in a Ph. D. in biological anthropology at UCLA. My research has focused on a mathematical model of cooperation known as the Prisoner's Dilemma. Here is a paper in the Journal of Theoretical Biology, co-authored with Rob Boyd:

(with Robert Boyd) Evolutionary dynamics of the continuous iterated Prisoner’s dilemma. Journal of Theoretical Biology 245 (2007) 258–267.

I am now focusing on aspects of time discounting and cooperation, and plan to do field research in northern Vietnam. In the summer of 2005 I conducted a pilot study of cooperation in New Britain, Papua New Guinea.
